White label development

White label web development and technical support for UK agencies.

Able Web Services is the development team behind other agencies’ work. We build, maintain and rescue websites under your brand — so you can take on technical projects without carrying a permanent development team.

Invisible to your clients Reduced partner rates From 10 hrs / month No long-term contract
Project delivery

Builds you take on, we deliver.

When a project needs more development than your team can take on — or more than you want to hire for — we deliver it under your brand.

  • Bespoke websites and custom CMS themes built to your designs
  • Ecommerce builds, custom checkout, subscriptions and trade pricing
  • Web applications, member portals and internal tools
  • API and CRM integrations
  • Pixel-accurate implementation from Figma, Sketch, XD or a written brief
Retained support

Client sites you look after, we maintain.

A monthly block of development hours covering your whole client portfolio, with one point of contact and priority scheduling.

  • Platform, plugin and security updates across multiple client sites
  • Bug fixing and troubleshooting on sites anyone built
  • Performance work and technical SEO fixes
  • Small features and content changes your team cannot cover
  • Managed hosting, monitoring and backups where you want it
How agencies use us

Six reasons agencies bring us in.

Most partnerships start with one of these, then broaden once the working relationship is established.

White label delivery

Complete builds delivered under your brand, on your timeline, with documentation your team can hand to the client.

Overflow capacity

Extra development hands when deadlines overlap or your in-house developers are fully booked.

Specialist technical work

Custom plugins, API integrations, PHP and Laravel development, and the functionality that sits outside most agencies’ comfort zone.

Ongoing client maintenance

Updates, monitoring, fixes and small changes across a portfolio of client sites, on retained hours.

Website rescue

Broken functionality, legacy code, performance problems and difficult handovers from a previous developer.

Pre-sales support

Technical input at pitch stage — scoping, estimates and feasibility — so you can quote accurately and win the work.

Agency services

Five ways agencies work with us.

Most partnerships start with one of these, then broaden once the working relationship is established.

Working together

A clear way of working.

Agencies need more than someone who can write code. You need a partner who communicates clearly, respects the client relationship and takes responsibility for the quality of the work.

01

Introduction call

We talk through how you work, the kind of projects you take on and where the gaps are.

02

First piece of work

Usually a single project or a month of retained hours. No long commitment to find out whether we fit.

03

Access and handover

Repository, staging and hosting access. We document what we find before touching anything.

04

Delivery

Work on staging under your domain, reviewed by your team, deployed when you say so.

05

Ongoing arrangement

Most partners move onto retained hours so capacity is reserved rather than negotiated each time.

Who we partner with

Agencies that need a technical half.

We work with web design studios, branding agencies, SEO and digital marketing companies, and established development agencies that need specialist expertise or extra capacity.

Design-led studios

You handle brand, UX and the client relationship. We build what you design, properly, and support it afterwards.

Marketing and SEO agencies

You own the strategy and the account. We handle the development work your retainers depend on.

Development agencies

You have a team already but need a specialism, a second pair of hands, or cover for a peak.

Agency questions

How partnerships actually work.

How does the white label arrangement work?
You keep the client relationship and the design. We build, test and deploy under your brand, on your staging environment or ours. We communicate with your team only, unless you specifically ask us to join a client call. Nothing we produce carries Able Web branding.
Do you work with our existing codebase?
Yes. A large part of our agency work is picking up sites somebody else built. We start with a short technical review so we understand the current state and can flag anything that will affect cost before we begin.
Can you provide overflow capacity at short notice?
Usually. Capacity is confirmed before any project starts so you are never left waiting on an answer. Retained partners get priority scheduling, which is the reliable way to secure time in a busy month.
What happens when one of our client sites breaks?
Retained partners can raise time-sensitive issues by phone. Our response target is 2 business hours for anything that takes a site offline or makes it unusable.
Do you speak to our clients directly?
Only if you want us to. The default is that we work entirely behind you and your team relays everything. Some partners prefer us on client calls for technical detail; both arrangements work.
What does it cost to work with you?
Retained agency partners work from a monthly block of hours at a reduced rate, with priority scheduling. Project work is quoted fixed-price where the scope allows. Ad-hoc work is charged at our standard agency rate.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Retained plans start from 10 hours a month with 30 days notice to change or cancel. You can also start with a single project to see how we work before committing to anything ongoing.
What technologies do you cover?
PHP and Laravel, CMS development and custom themes, ecommerce including custom checkout and subscription work, REST API and CRM integrations, plus server administration, managed hosting and deployment pipelines.
