Privacy Policy.

This notice explains how Able Web Services Ltd. collects, uses and protects personal information. In it, “process” means collect, store, transfer, use or otherwise act on information.

Last reviewed October 2026

We take the privacy of everyone who contacts us or uses this website seriously. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and — where it applies — the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

The basis on which we process information

We process personal information on one of the following lawful bases.

Consent

Information you give us when you make an enquiry, or where you give explicit permission for us to contact you. Browsing the site itself requires no consent, because it collects nothing. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@ablewebservices.com. Withdrawing consent may limit the services we are able to provide.

Legitimate interest

Where we process information under legitimate interest, we first consider whether the same outcome could be achieved another way, whether processing could cause you harm, and whether you would reasonably expect it. On that basis we process information to:

  • Keep accurate records of our dealings with clients and enquirers
  • Respond to communications you send us
  • Protect our legal position and manage business risk
  • Investigate and resolve complaints

Legal obligation

Where we are required to process information to comply with a statutory requirement, including properly authorised requests from law enforcement.

Specific uses of information

Payment information

We never handle your card details directly. Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We do not store card numbers on our systems.

Messages and enquiries

When you email or call us, we retain your contact details and the content of the message so we can respond, maintain a record of what was discussed and agreed, and monitor the quality of our service.

Complaints

Information relating to a complaint is used to investigate and resolve it. We may compile statistics about complaints, but these never identify individuals.

Affiliate and partner information

Where we work with affiliates or agency partners, details are held in confidence and used only to track and pay commission or manage the partnership.

Information collected automatically

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

The one thing stored on your device is your light or dark theme choice, kept in your browser’s local storage so the site looks the same next time. It is set only if you use the theme switch, it never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Third-party content

The site loads nothing from anybody else — no third-party fonts, scripts, analytics, embedded videos or social widgets. Fonts are served from our own server specifically so that visiting this site does not announce you to a third party.

Server logs

Like any web server, ours records the address of each request: IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. This is needed to operate the site securely, diagnose faults and identify abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you or combined with anything else, and it is not shared.

Sharing information

  • We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this notice.
  • This website, and the sites we host for clients, run on servers we provision from third-party cloud providers. Those servers are in London data centres by default. Where a client asks for a different region, we provision there instead and tell them so. The cloud providers act as processors for the data held on those servers, and some are headquartered outside the UK.
  • Where information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we require the processor to apply appropriate safeguards and binding corporate rules.

Your rights

Access

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@ablewebservices.com. Where an account exists, you can also review your details by logging in.

Removal

You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. Where we are able to do so we will, though this may mean we can no longer provide certain services.

Verification

Before acting on any access or deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity.

Additional protections

Children

Anyone under 18 should obtain consent from a parent or guardian before providing personal information through this website.

Encryption

Data sent between your browser and this website is encrypted using an SSL certificate. Your browser will show a padlock to confirm the connection is secure.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If the matter remains unresolved, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/concerns.

How long we keep information

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to:

  • Provide the services you have asked us for
  • Comply with our legal and tax obligations
  • Establish, exercise or defend a legal claim

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here applies on the date you use the website. You may wish to print or save a copy for your records.

Trademarks

Product and platform names used on this site — including WordPress, WooCommerce, Drupal, Joomla, PrestaShop, Magento, Laravel, Wix and Squarespace — are the trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to describe the software we work with.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by or an official partner of any of them, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming otherwise.
